SourceForge is a web-based service that provides a source code repository, bug tracking, mirroring of downloads and other features. It offers centralized online location that software developers can use to control and manage free and open-source software development.
SourceForge has existed since 1999. Abundant contents but never improve UX/UI. Lack of consistency on style and flows.
Usability improvements to create the best possible experience for existing user and invite new user by new feature and upgrade subscription, sign up flows.
Our design goal is consistency in design and easy to use.
Category Page, 'Keep me updated' message page, Enterprise search, IT Job board by DICE and new features were sketched out many possible user flows. I came up with several unique solutions. Present to PM and engineers which options were best solved the problems. After decision, I created high fidelity prototypes.
